About Me

My name is Trent Michael Craig Davies, and ever since I first opened the Warcraft III Map Editor at 11 years old I've been absorbed by games and how they're made.

I'm a player-focused game designer with over 5 years of experience who's led multidisciplinary teams and possesses the skills necessary to bring ideas to life, not just to the table. I'm passionate about creating deep and rewarding gameplay experiences based on a strong understanding of game design principles and pushing the envelope, all the while prioritising a healthy development cycle.

Previously a part of PlayReactive and co-founded Bathysphere Studios, I'm now based in the North East of England working as a Senior Game Designer at Coatsink, currently working on an unannounced title.

I studied at Cologne Game Lab (TH Köln) and RMIT University, receiving a Bachelor of Design (Games).

I'm also a former competitive StarCraft II player and this experience opened my eyes to the intricacies of game design, which ultimately directed my life to where it is today.
